Viking Line’s new ship M/S Viking Grace is not only one of the most ecological passenger ships, she also has a unique design interior. The Finnish architect Dsign Vertti Kivi & Co. handpicked the environmental unit Kite.
When Viking Line started work on its new flagship they aimed high. The result is a ship whose design and construction protects the fragile island environment by reducing wave formation and lower fuel consumption. The environmental idea is found in several places on board, from the continuous organic wine list to the passengers opportunity to recycle their waste. TreCe have been privileged to supply the environment unit Kite to the ship’s public spaces, including the 1,600 square-meter duty-free shop. The ship’s interior, which is significantly different from traditional ship interior, is modern and graphic. The right angles in decor and design fits well with the lines of TreCe’s environment unit Kite.
M/S Viking Grace sails between Stockholm-Åbo and since her maiden voyage on January 13 has had a consistently high occupancy. TreCe wish her good luck on her onward journey!
