Partnerships for sustainable development

Because we are passionate about being part of a world in balance – for sustainable development, we have started collaborations with like-minded people.

One of these companies is CleanSea, founded by twins Lukas and Mikaela Julher in 2019, inspired by their love of the sea after spending summers along the west coast of Sweden. On a walk, they discovered a bay full of plastic waste – bottles, bags, ropes and discarded nets – which resulted in the creation of CleanSea.

Every hour, five plastic bathtubs wash up in Bohuslän and millions of marine animals die every year due to marine pollution. CleanSea’s mission is to reverse this by clearing coastlines, seabeds and islands of harmful plastics and rubbish, to create a future where our oceans thrive with life, not waste.

Our partnership with CleanSea means that for every Wavy sold, CleanSea removes 1kg of litter from our coasts. When designer Annica Doms created Wavy, the goal was to combine sustainability with function. Wavy is an elegant and spacious waste bin for waste sorting in public environments.

Sustainability is at the centre of Wavy. The modules are made of 20% recycled steel and have a long lifespan. The product is designed to be circular – the parts can be easily replaced, refurbished and recycled. The inner bins, made of 100% recycled plastic, allow the use of paper sacks and are part of an overall solution for environmentally sound waste management.

By choosing Wavy, you are not only contributing to a sustainable environment, but also to cleaner oceans through our partnership with CleanSea.
